What Must I Do To Be Saved?

Salvation vs. Condemnation.

Saved from What?

I'm OK, you're OK

Are you sure you are OK?

Some believe that everyone is OK. God loves us just the way we are. But we really need to think about this question:

Why did Jesus come?

"And she will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for it is He who will save His people from their sins."

All Mankind for all time have been under God's Law.

If you are under Law and you break that law, you sin.

…"for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"

Consequences of our sins:

I'm OK, you're OK

1. Separation from God:

"But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, And your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He does not hear."

2. Eternal Condemnation:

"dealing out retribution to those who do not know God and to those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. And these will pay the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power"

Jesus came to save us from the consequences of our sins! But those who do not obey the gospel will not enjoy the benefit of His great sacrifice for us all.

How do I obey the gospel?
